Sharing Overview
Giverr makes it easy to share your wishlists with exactly the right people. Whether you’re sharing with a tight-knit family group or sending a link to distant relatives, you have full control over who sees what.
Sharing Methods
Section titled “Sharing Methods”There are three main ways to share your wishlists:
Gift Groups
Section titled “Gift Groups”The most common method. When you share a wishlist with a Gift Group, all members can view it and claim gifts.
- Open your wishlist
- Click Share → Share to Group
- Select which groups should see this wishlist
Events
Section titled “Events”Share wishlists with event participants for time-bound occasions.
- Create or join an event
- Share your wishlist with the event
- Participants can view and claim during the active event period
Share Links
Section titled “Share Links”Generate a unique URL that anyone can use to view your wishlist — perfect for sharing beyond your usual circles.
Access Control

Privacy Protection
Section titled “Privacy Protection”No matter how you share, Giverr’s privacy model ensures:
- You never see who claimed your gifts — surprise stays intact
- Other givers can coordinate — they see each other’s claims
- Real-time sync — prevents duplicate purchases instantly
This works automatically at the data layer. You don’t need to configure anything.
