Gifts

Gifts are the items on your wishlist. You can add them by pasting a URL (Giverr extracts product details automatically) or by manual entry for custom or offline items.

Gifts have a priority level to help givers know what matters most to you.

Priority Levels

Actions

Add a Gift from URL

The fastest way to add gifts — paste a product URL and let Giverr do the work:

1. Open a wishlist
2. Click Add Gift
3. Paste the product URL (from Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc.)
4. Giverr extracts the title, image, price, and description
5. Adjust details if needed and set your priority
6. Click Save

Tip

Giverr supports most major retailers and will extract as much product info as possible automatically.

Add a Gift Manually

For items without a URL (handmade items, experiences, or offline stores):

1. Open a wishlist
2. Click Add Gift → Add Manually
3. Fill in the details:
   • Name — What is it?
   • Price (optional) — Approximate cost
   • Description — Where to find it or any notes
   • Image (optional) — Upload a photo
4. Set your priority and click Save

Edit a Gift

1. Click on the gift card
2. Click the Edit button
3. Update any details (name, price, notes, priority)
4. Save your changes

Copy a Gift to Another Wishlist

Want the same item on multiple wishlists? Copy it:

1. Click on the gift card
2. Click Copy to Wishlist
3. Select the target wishlist
4. The gift appears on both lists

Note

Gifts are stored canonically — copying creates a link, and claims are coordinated across all wishlists where the gift appears.

Remove a Gift from a Wishlist

1. Click on the gift card
2. Click Remove
3. Confirm the removal

This removes the gift from the wishlist but doesn’t delete it from your account if it’s on other lists.

Mark a Gift as Received

After receiving a gift, mark it to update your records:

1. Click on the gift card
2. Click Mark as Received
3. The gift shows as received in your history
